Having existed for more than a decade, the Football School is the Danish FA’s biggest and best-known activity. More than 200,000 school children in the age from 8 to 16 have experienced this unique concept themselves during the last 10 years. A week of school in the middle of summer vacation is intimidating to most young people but not to children of the Football School

The main emphasis is on skill training and every year a new topic within skill training is implemented. Through the years we have worked on improving the children’s dribbling, ruses and set pieces. All of this is mixed with other exercises, coaching of goalkeepers, various tournaments along with a lot of fun and games

Each year our Football School employs more than 1,200 coaches for the approximately 25,000 children, who attend the school in the course of the summer. Likewise, more than 400 club managers spend a considerable part of their vacation making the Football School a great success
